Marsha Ershaghi Hames is a Managing Director of Strategy and Development for a global Governance, Risk and Compliance firm. As an advisor to senior executives, for nearly two decades, she has been actively focused on shaping the governance, culture, and leadership systems that catalyze ethical behavior within organizations. She’s led transformational strategies for multinational organizations through an integrated scalable approach to ethics, compliance and organizational culture. Her particular area of expertise includes building program effectiveness specifically through developing leadership accountability, workforce engagement and proactively eliminating signs of toxic organizational culture. She is a thought leader, delivering speaking engagements at industry and association meetings including the Defense Industry Initiative, Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, Ethics & Compliance Initiative, Ethisphere and Executive Programs at Georgetown University and the University of Southern California. Dr. Ershaghi Hames has been interviewed and cited in the media and trade journals including Law360, Entrepreneur.com, CNBC, Chief Learning Officer, ATD Talent & Development, The FCPA Report, Compliance Week, Corporate Counsel, Human Resources Executive, Training Magazine and more. She also leads executive workshops for Boards and leadership teams. She has guided projects for organizations across a spectrum of industries both in the private, commercial and non-profit sectors. Dr. Ershaghi Hames holds a Doctorate in Educational Technology & Leadership from Pepperdine University. Her dissertation was on the role of Ethical Leadership as an Enabler of Organizational Culture Change. She holds an M.A. in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University, and a B.A. from the University of Southern California. She is a CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional).
